KelpyGio’s Shop was founded by Giorgio Arreola, inspired by a lifelong love of cartoons and the iconic SpongeBob SquarePants character, “Kelpy G.” Combining nostalgia with a passion for trading cards and collectibles, Giorgio created a shop that feels like a community. Known affectionately as either “Kelpy” or “Gio,” he has built a welcoming space for collectors and fans alike.

In late 2022, Giorgio rediscovered his love for Pokémon, and by the summer of 2023, he made the bold decision to leave college and start his own Pokémon shop on TikTok. It turned out to be the best decision of his life. KelpyGio’s Shop quickly gained a loyal following online, and Giorgio now focuses on growing that into a thriving local presence.

The shop offers a wide variety of trading cards and sealed products, carefully curated so that anyone can find something they love. Giorgio believes that variety is key to keeping his visitors excited and engaged. As much as he enjoys selling, he’s a collector at heart, with favorites like Turtwig, Leafeon, and Arceus. He’s always open to trading cards with fellow fans!

After discovering CCS, Giorgio instantly fell in love with its vibrant, welcoming community. From friendly vendors to passionate TCG players, CCS felt like the perfect place to make KelpyGio’s Shop a local staple.
