Welcome to Iisaka Station, a unique shop devoted to all things Japanese, founded by Forrest Reed as a tribute to the warmth and hospitality of his host family in Japan, the Iisakas. Forrest’s goal is to share his passion for Japanese culture with the community, offering an impressive selection of imported items and a welcoming space for fans of anime, manga, and Japanese pop culture.
Iisaka Station’s shelves are filled with treasures from Japan: rare manga, traditional handmade dishware, plushies, model kits, cosplay goods, and so much more. Forrest takes pride in curating a collection that embodies the beauty and excitement of Japanese culture, with products spanning a wide range of prices and styles—there’s truly something for every anime or Japanese culture enthusiast!
In addition to the incredible products, Forrest is excited to offer a few exclusive community events. He plans to host an 8-week Japanese language course for beginners every Wednesday and Sunday before closing and dreams of sponsoring a “Popcorn and Anime” night, where fans can gather to watch Japanese anime classics on a big screen. 🍿📽️
Whether you’re a Digimon or Gundam fan, a lover of Japanese games, or just exploring the world of anime, Iisaka Station invites everyone to stop by, chat, and explore. Forrest is dedicated to fostering a friendly and generous atmosphere, where customers’ suggestions, requests, and advice are always welcome. For him, Iisaka Station is not just a business; it’s a community project designed to bring people together over the great works of Japanese culture.
